    Western National is looking to add a Technical Analyst to our team to help focus on building and maintaining scripts for our printing services. This opportunity will allow someone with a strong technical background the chance to work with different printing services scripting languages to create forms and documents, as well as printing process flows.

     

    The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Scripting languages and have strong technical skills and attention to detail and be able to work with raw data.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor daily print cycles and processes.
    • Regularly review recurring application issues for to identify and create potential long-term solutions.
    • Prepare technical documentation such as design specifications, flow charts, and data flow diagrams to communicate software delivery, updates, and enhancements.
    • Work with change control team to ensure quality deliveries of business solutions between environments.
    • Identify and develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
    • Identify and recommend potential modifications/enhancements in existing applications to meet the changing needs of the business partners.
    • Identify opportunities, make recommendations and implement solutions that can help improve efficiency of business processes through software enhancements.
    • Regular contact with customers and employees across the organization.
    • Regular contact with outside vendors.

    Qualifications

    • Previous work experience in Technical role with preference toward Scripting experience.
    • Previous experience with printing software is preferred.
    • Proven ability to develop, test and support software applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality.
    • Demonstrated ability to follow project management practices; including agile and SCRUM methodology.
    • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
    • Intermediate level experience in required scripting languages.
    • Understanding of system integrations
    • Intermediate level of experience with code versioning software.
    • Experience or understanding of automation processes/platforms.
