    Western National is in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team!  This role offers a candidate the opportunity to further their knowledge and skillset within the Quality Assurance world and will also work closely with our Salesforce team to start.

     

    The ideal candidate will have previous Quality Assurance experience including the ability to create and execute test cases. This role will be testing Salesforce and previous experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools would be a nice to have. This role will have the opportunity to use Automation tools in the future and someone with a technical aptitude for that is preferred.   

    Responsibilities

    • Write test scripts for user stories.
    • Work with Development team to provide estimates.
    • Provide clear and timely communications regarding Quality Assurance activities, deliverables and related processes across various levels of the organizations.
    • Reports issues with documentation and recommends for resolution.
    • Decision making guided by specific instructions, standard practices, and established procedures that generally require some interpretation.
    • Automatically makes decisions on routine issues.
    • Deals with moderately complex problems that must be broken down into manageable pieces.
    • Gathers input and makes recommendations to solve problems of moderate complexity.
    • Participate in development of improvements and help implement change as required.
    • Regular contact with internal customers across the organization.
    • Some contact with outside customers, including vendors.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience and ability to accurately identify, document and develop test cases is required.
    • Salesforce or CRM experience is a nice to have.
    • Experience working in Agile team is required.
    • Proven ability to work as solo QA on project team.
    • Jira or similar tool is preferred.
    • Exposure to Automation tools or interest in learning Automation tools is preferred.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Solid knowledge with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
    • Proven ability to organize deliverables within specified timeframe.
    • Understanding of standards for quality, processes, and meeting established service against those standards.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
    • Advanced competency and use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages.
