    Western National is seeking a motivated Support Specialist to join our Commercial Lines team. The primary function of this position is to provide quality administrative support to underwriters and agencies by rating and entering transactions into established systems for commercial lines.

     

    The ideal candidate will be someone with an interest in growing in the Insurance Industry. This role will require someone with strong organizational skills, time management and ability to manage their tasks on a deadline.

    Responsibilities

    • Works within standard operating procedures and established practices to provide timely customer service to underwriters and agencies.
    • Rates and enters transactions for new and renewal commercial lines of business.
    • Supports additional areas including premium audits, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
    • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
    • Updates routine reports and understands information.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in corporate environment working on fast paced deadlines.
    • Intermediate experience with Microsoft office suite including Word/Excel ability required.
    • Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a plus.
    • Coursework towards AINS or CISR certification is a plus.
    • Experience with Policy Administrative System knowledge preferred.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
