    Western National is in search of a FNOL(First Notice of Lost/Claims) Team Lead to join our team!  This role will manage a team of Claims Support Specialists while also offering strong customer service skills to our customers.

     

    The ideal candidate will have experience managing customer service professionals and strong customer service experience by phone. This role will take initial claims calls from our policyholders and agents.

    Responsibilities

    • Organizes people and work distribution and creates and maintains related metrics for simple to complex processes.  
    • Provides subject matter expertise and training for Claims support staff.
    • Develops and updates routine reports and understands information.
    • Works directly with agents to obtain information and to provide transaction level service at their request.
    • Completes regular work and other assigned projects within established timeframe.
    • Answers incoming customer call for department.
    • Duties are routine and clerical in nature.
    • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
    • Contacts other internal departments and team members.
    • Communication is primarily task/learning-related and involves creating and delivering varied types of messages and information.
    • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Backup Front Desk representative and provide initial face-to-face contact with customers.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of Customer service experience by phone is preferred.
    • Previous experience managing Customer Service Professionals is preferred.
    • Previous Insurance experience is preferred.
    • Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages.
    • Ability to follow process.
    • Time management/ability to meet deadlines.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
