    Western National is in search of a Claims Support Specialist to join our team!  This role offers a candidate the opportunity to further their knowledge and skillset within the claims world while offering excellent support to our customers in their greatest time of need.


    The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience by phone and be able support our customers initial needs when filing a claim.


    • Answering incoming customer call for department.
    • Duties are routine and clerical in nature.
    • Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
    • Updates routine reports and understands information.
    • Contacts other internal departments and team members.
    • Communication is primarily task/learning-related and involves creating and delivering varied types of messages and information.
    • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Backup Front Desk representative and provide initial face-to-face contact with customers.


    • 2+ years of Customer service experience by phone is required.
    • Previous Insurance experience is preferred.
    • Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment and software packages.
    • Ability to follow process.
    • Time management/ability to meet deadlines.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
