    Western National is seeking a Claims Representative to join our Property Claims team.  This position is dedicated to successfully managing the claims handling process for homeowner’s and commercial property damage claims, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a successful company, and take their career in Claims to the next level!


    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience resolving homeowner’s and commercial property claims; and possesses excellent written & oral communication and problem-solving skills.


    • Handles high volume, low to moderate complexity claims within settlement authority.
    • Ensures customer service excellence.
    • Investigates and reviews policy forms, facts and documents related to claims to make appropriate decisions on claim resolution.
    • Establishes and reviews proper reserves for each claim based upon thorough investigation, evaluation, and experience, maintaining appropriate reports to ensure current status of claims are clearly documented at all times.
    • Provides direction to outside resources.
    • Adheres to all company quality assurance and reporting standards.


    • 3+ years of Property Claims experience with Commercial Property experience being preferred.
    • Strong understanding of available types of coverage and claims regulatory guidelines preferred.
    • High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Insurance related field preferred.
